The thigh's the limit for Grammy-winning songstress Ciara, who wowed a Toronto audience this week with a pair of skyscraper boots. Style-savvy Ciara was making an appearance at the MuchMusic studios on Wednesday before performing at the trendy Guvernment night club.
Toronto was the R&B diva's third gig and only Canadian stop on her current whirlwind 16-city club tour, which kicked off on October 26 - the day after she celebrated her 21st birthday. The platinum-selling artist’s set includes her new single Promise off Ciara: The Evolution, which hits shelves on December 5.
The gorgeous star has opted for a more intimate approach on this tour, playing clubs rather than stadiums. "A small setting gives my fans an exclusive experience where they can truly hear and see exactly where I'm going," explains the 21-year-old. "It's about so much more than just my personal growth - it's about the evolution of music, the evolution of dance, the evolution of fashion. I want to bring a taste of all that to the fans in a one-on-one environment."
With her latest album the R&B singer-songwriter, who write and co-produced every track, gives fans the opportunity to see how her sound has evolved. "This time around, I'm taking people into my world and letting them see more of who I truly am," says the Texas-born beauty of Creole, German and Irish heritage.
