Robert Downey Jr had to do without his co-star Nicole Kidman at the New York premiere of their movie Fur: An Imaginary Portrait Of Diane Arbus on Sunday, but happily his very own leading lady, Susan, was on hand for his red carpet moment.

The Singing Detective actor and his wife were joined by Sting's other half Trudie Styler and tennis player John McEnroe at the screening, but Nicole, who plays the role of famed photographer Diane Arbus in the movie, was staying home in Nashville, Tennessee. The Aussie beauty also recently cancelled an appearance at a press conference to promote the flick.

Her husband of four months Keith Urban, who just turned 39, is currently addressing addiction issues after he started drinking again. Nicole was by his side as he checked into the Cumberland Heights rehab clinic near their home which they share with Nicole's adopted kids Isabella and Connor.

"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused to Nicole and the ones that love and support me," he said in a public statement. "One can never let one's guard down on recovery and I'm afraid that I have."

The troubled country singer, who entered the same rehab facility back in 1998, was unable to attend the Country Music awards on Monday night where he was named top male vocalist for the second year running. But he again paid an emotional tribute to his wife in a pre-written address. "To my wife, Nicole, I love you. I'm looking forward to coming home and seeing you all soon."
