Kiefer Sutherland had clearly taken a leaf out of his 24 character's style book when he turned up in a suit and cool aviator shades for an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman at the weekend.
The actor had added a metro-sexual twist to Jack Bauer's counter-terrorist agent attire, however, by carrying a trendy man-bag - the satchel-shaped tote which of late has become a wardrobe essential for male celebs.
The talented 39-year-old was busy promoting his new documentary I Trust You To Kill Me, a catalogue of his role as road manager with Rocco DeLuca - the first signing to his indie record label - on their European tour. Treated to an enthusiastic reception when he arrived at the studios, the tow-haired star stopped to sign autographs and chat with the assembled well-wishers.
This latest production, which is available on DVD in January, obviously holds a very special place in the actor's heart, as Kiefer had the film's title - along with the name of the band's CD - tattooed onto his right forearm in Icelandic. The project represents, he says, "finally becoming my own man at age 39".
