Heather Mills has denied reports she has become romantically involved with her personal trainer. In her first interview about the break-up of her four-year marriage to Paul McCartney, Heather said rumours about her relationship with Ben Amigoni were false.
"I haven't got a lover," Heather told US TV show Extra in an interview to be aired stateside this week, adding: "At the moment, I'm focusing on my daughter." The 38-year-old anti-landmine campaigner went on to say she had loved Sir Paul "unconditionally" and "fell in love for the right reasons".
"I was just madly in love, blinded by love, and totally, totally madly in love." Asked if she would ever marry again, the former model replied, "Never".
Since the announcement of their separation in May, media interest in the couple has been intense. Earlier this month Paul spoke of the importance of keeping "a certain dignity", and told the BBC that "I think a relationship with a partner is intensely personal, and I prefer to keep it that way."
During the interview Heather also told Extra presenter Dayna Devon that, contrary to reports in the press, she had not married Paul for his money. "Eighty-five percent of my income goes to my charity. The word gold digger doesn't go with that. If I was a gold-digger, I would have a lot of money in my bank account. I'd be worth millions and millions."
