Heather Mills' divorce from estranged husband Paul McCartney continues to unfold, but the 38-year-old's commitment to charity work obviously remains undiminished. The mum-of-one was walking tall - in a pair of brown stiletto boots - when she helped promote a fundraising auction of celebrity shoes on Tuesday.

The former model is just one of a series of big names who have donated footwear for the Mines Advisory Group's online sale. Legendary singer David Bowie has offered a pair of white leather ankle boots, while Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has stepped up to the plate with some Adidas trainers.

American movie star Susan Sarandon has meanwhile made a rather more elegant contribution with her silver Jimmy Choos, and former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson has likewise put her best foot forward, with a pair of white stilettos designed by Stella McCartney.

All of the items, which are being auctioned on e-Bay, have been signed by their glamorous owners.
