Fans of the BBC soap EastEnders will know only too well that romance has been a rocky road for Stacey Slater and Bradley Branning.
The talents behind the chalk and cheese characters seem to be enjoying a rather more upbeat relationship in real life, though, as they shopped together in central London this week.
Charlie Clements, who plays the hard-working City boy, was at his co-star's side as she checked out some of the designer stores in Bond Street on Wednesday.
And the 28-year-old actress seems to have rather more expensive tastes than the tough Walford lass she portrays, picking up some goodies at the Prada store before heading home.
Fans of the long-running series needn't worry that the tempestuous romance between their onscreen characters is about to lose its fire, though. Studio insiders have revealed there are troubled waters ahead after Bradley meets a sophisticated new woman through his work in the City.
American actress Amy Noble, who has previously appeared in Holby City, will play the sultry character that throws a spanner in the works for the Albert Square couple.
