Londoners don't usually get much opportunity to wear their sunglasses at this time of year, but some of the capital's favourite celebs obviously reckon the festive season is just the time to reach for their shades. Sadie Frost, Kelly Osbourne and Meg Matthews were all among those rubbing shoulders at a bash to celebrate the relaunch of Ray-Ban's classic Wayfarer design.
The American firm is determined to reaffirm its reputation as the ultimate rock and roller's fashion accessory. And to help set the ball rolling, Brandon Flowers from The Killers joins Ricky Wilson from The Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie in the company's latest ad campaign.
With appropriately-monikered celeb photographer Mick Rock handling things behind the camera, the classic brand looks set to make an impression on the fashion charts. Tuesday night's shindig in the Electric Ballroom included an exhibition of shots that will soon be gracing billboards around the world.
