Some lucky Nelly Furtado fans got a treat on Wednesday when the Canadian chanteuse jetted into the Big Apple to perform her new hit single Say It Right. The mum-of-one looked stunning as she stepped out on stage for the live performance at the MTV studios in Times Square in a geometric-patterned, monochrome dress.
Nelly has been keeping busy this holiday season. The MTV appearance comes hot on the heels of her Jingle Bell Bash concert in Tacoma, Washington, where the brunette performed a 40-minute set of her hits.
With her two-year-old daughter Nevis in tow, the 27-year-old songstress will continue travelling over the next couple weeks. She's set to fly half way round the world to perform live at a New Year's Eve bash in front of 1.3 million fans in Mumbai, India, where her album Loose is topping the charts.
The multi-platinum-selling artist is thrilled to be giving her first live performance in the country. "India holds a special place in my heart and I am fascinated by the country's diversity and rich heritage," says Nelly. "I am delighted with this opportunity to perform in Mumbai and look forward to giving my fans an evening full of great music and an unforgettable experience."
