They have one of the strongest marriages in British showbiz, so it was no surprise to hear Richard Madeley singing the praises of his wife Judy Finnigan as they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
The popular TV couple have just returned from a break in LA to celebrate their two decades. "To spend three weeks together every day and still enjoy each other's conversation and company is fantastic," declared Richard who is currently recording a new TV series Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway. Despite the temptations facing them on the showbiz scene the handsome 50-year-old insists that they have always been faithful.
"I've never cheated on Judy and never will," he said. "I've been completely faithful and I know she has to me. It hasn't been difficult. We're attracted to each other and always have been. You have to feel passionately about your partner. You have to, otherwise it's bloody boring. And sex is important; it's the bedrock."
Richard, and Judy, 58, met and fell in love while working together at a TV station. Their chemistry together was there for all to see as they became household names presenting ITV show This Morning and then The Richard And Judy Show for Channel four.
