She was dubbed "the Queen of the Jungle" after winning I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, but Myleene Klass is obviously just as comfortable prowling the streets of a metropolis as she is in a tropical wilderness.
The foxy singer teamed up with popular DJ Johnny Vaughan to help launch the BUPA Great Capital run on Tuesday afternoon. And even though a strapless dress and high heels aren't exactly the ideal outfit for setting off on a jog, that proved no obstacle to the 28-year-old star as she joined a group of game athletes for the publicity event.
On July 15, when the main run is staged in London's Hyde Park, there will be quite a few more taking part. All the money raised by the ten-kilometre race will go to helping disadvantaged youngsters in the British capital.
Having already proved her mettle by jumping out of helicopters and undergoing some rather unpleasant bushtucker trials, Myleene will be limiting herself to firing the starter's pistol when the big day arrives, though. "I've recently done my fair share of challenges," she said, urging everyone to "sign up now and do your bit for London's little ones".
