Since their return the the US from Oz Paris Hilton and her on/off boyfriend Stavros Niarchos have been doing their best to keep their rekindled romance low key. But there was nothing subtle about the balloons the hotel heiress was snapped carrying in LA this week.
The 25-year-old was spotted with no less than six heart-shaped helium balloons, all bearing the words "I love you", as she headed home after a shopping trip.
The day wasn't all plain sailing for the blonde bombshell, though, as she ran out of petrol not long afterwards. Fortunately, one of the photographers who was busy taking her picture offered to go and fetch some fuel. So all Paris had to do was sit tight in her £200,000 Bentley and wait for the helpful lensman to return.
The media-friendly socialite has also been on the receiving end of some less favourable attention, however, after topping designer Richard Blackwell's annual 'Worst Dressed' list. She had the dubious honour of sharing the number one spot with singer Britney Spears, while Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan came in third.
