If her house-hunting is anything like as designer-focused as her clothes shopping, LA residents can expect Victoria Beckham to be satisfied with only the best when it comes to choosing a home for her family.
The former Spice girl, who arrived in the US on Saturday, is seeing a total of 35 mansions during her week-long research trip, as well as checking out schools for her sons.
And the wealthy former singer can afford to be extra picky after it was announced that her husband David had accepted a £500,000 a week contract with the LA Galaxy team. She has instructed estate agents to show her houses worth between £5 million and £10 million, and is reportedly receiving advice from new pal Jennifer Lopez.
The mum-of-three has apparently already turned down Lionel Richie's former pad as being too small. The £7.5 million five-bedroom, six-bathroom Spanish-style villa, which was also owned at one point by Chris Evans, has stunning views over the ocean and a wealth of A-list features, but is not thought to be big enough to have all their friends over to stay.
Victoria, 32, has also visited an exclusive gated complex in the Hollywood Hills where Britney Spears owns a home, taking 30 minutes to check out a £10-million luxury pad.
Other properties already ticked off her must-see list include a very romantic 1920s English country manor-style mansion in Bel Air, on sale for £8 million. Posh is apparently keeping David updated on her progress by sending photos to him on his mobile phone - which he was seen checking while on the sidelines during a Real Madrid match on Sunday.
