It's not just Brad Pitt who thinks his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie is especially gorgeous. The stunning brunette with the bee-stung lips has earned top spot in the hellomagazine.com Most Attractive Woman poll, beating off close competition from House actress Jennifer Morrison and Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, who came a respectable third with 15 per cent of the votes.
The UN goodwill ambassador and mum-of-three's 25 per cent share of the votes had her leading the field in a long list of beauties including Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek. And in a poll dominated by actresses, platinum blonde singer Christina Aguilera headed up the list of representatives from the music scene by capturing just over a tenth of the votes cast.
The online race to land the Most Attractive Man title was also a close-run affair, with Sean Bean pipping fellow Brit Robbie Williams to the post. Yorkshireman Sean, who won nearly 18 per cent of the votes, is clearly as popular as ever in the eyes of the ladies, who love his rugged charm.
With just under 17 per cent of the votes Angels singer Robbie gave the Sharpe actor a run for his money, though, proving he's as irresistible as ever. And Lord Of The Rings hunk Viggo Mortensen came third, just ahead of House's maverick medic Hugh Laurie. All put in a good showing in a line-up of some of the world's most handsome celebs, including Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
In the Most Elegant Woman category it was one of Europe's best loved princesses who impressed readers most with her impeccable sense of style. Denmark's Princess Mary scooped an impressive 40 per cent of the votes to regain the title she first won in 2004. The Aussie-born brunette, who is pregnant with her second child, is well-known for her sophisticated yet feminine wardrobe.
Second place went to another princess - this time in the world of pop. Britney Spears fans helped place their idol ahead of Cate Blanchett and Natalie Imbruglia - at third and fourth place respectively - by securing 38 per cent of the votes for the singer.
