Just days before Sunday's Grammy Awards, music stars were getting the party started with a pre-ceremony bash in West Hollywood. Leading the way was 28-year-old Nelly Furtado who made a shimmering appearance in a silver mini dress.
The stunning Maneater songstress, who is due to perform on the big night, is nominated for a statuette along with R&B producer Timbaland in the best pop collaboration category for their hit song Promiscuous. Following the awards, Nelly will jet into NYC to join a host of talented singers on talk show host Ellen DeGeneres' special Grammy show on Monday morning.
Other Canadians up for Grammy glory this year include Diana Krall, Daniel Powter and Sarah McLachlan. Michael Buble has now confirmed he will attend the glitzy LA event, although he admits to finding the red carpet "really intimidating".
The 31-year-old crooner, who lost out at last year's awards, is nominated for best traditional pop album for his Caught In The Act disc. "It's a huge honour to be recognised like that," he says.
He won't be arriving with girlfriend Emily Blunt on his arm, though, as the Brit actress will be going to her own awards ceremony - the Baftas - in London the same night.
