Many women would love to swap shoes with Canadian chanteuse Eva Avila. The stylish Canadian Idol winner got to try out some new ones of her own, though, on Wednesday night when she stepped out to an exclusive footwear launch.
"I love shoes," admitted the pretty brunette to HELLO!, saying she'd only owned a few pairs of well-worn favourites before hitting the big time. "Now I have 40 different pairs!" she confesses.
Being surrounded by stylists and fashion advisers is an inevitable result of the elegant singer's success, and Eva, who has just signed as the new face of Maybelline cosmetics, says she's enjoying every minute of it. "Everyone has really helped me develop my sense of style and my sense of fashion," she reveals. "Now I have an idea what I want to look like and what kind of image I want."
While her busy schedule doesn't allow her to visit home as often as she'd like, Eva, who's set to play Toronto's Music Hall on Saturday, will be showing off her new sense of style when she returns to the stage in her Gatineau hometown on April 18.
