Parents-to-be Jason Priestley and his beautiful wife Naomi Lowde joined the actor's former Beverly Hills 90210 chum Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott for one of Hollywood's more unusual charity events at the weekend. They attended the annual Silver Spoon Dog and Baby bash, where Tinseltown stars get treated to luxury items for their babies and pooches, too.
Vancouver-born Jason and his 31-year-old British love were clearly excited about the arrival of their first child this summer as they snapped up some cute clothes and accessories for the new baby. And they will have had the opportunity to discuss the joys of parenthood with Tori who took along her baby boy Liam Aaron to the event - which benefited a dog adoption facility and children's charity.
Tori and Dean, who are currently starring in their own reality show, would no doubt have also loved the items on offer for dogs, as they are not only proud parents to Liam but their pampered pug Mimi la Rue.
It seems Jason, 37, spends as much time as possible catching up with his old 90210 pals, taking in Ian Ziering's fancy footwork on Dancing With The Stars just last week. But he says there's no plan to resurrect their popular series after Aaron Spelling, the show's executive producer, passed away.
"I see those guys all the time - it's weird how much we still see each other but now that Aaron is no longer with us, the chances of a reunion are gravely reduced unfortunately," he says. "It was a great time and we all had a lot of fun, I made friends with those people and they will be in my life forever."
Instead, the LA-based heart-throb is being kept busy with several small screen commitments. He is due to star in a new TV comedy series Side Order Of Life which makes its debut on July 15, and before that will appear in British Columbia-lensed TV movie Luna: Spirit Of The Whale starring fellow Canuck Adam Beach.
