Canadian-born jazz chanteuse Diana Krall celebrated her first Mother's Day by taking a stroll through the sunny Manhattan streets with the most important men in her life - husband Elvis Costello and their five-month-old twin boys Dexter and Frank.
Just back from performing at a benefit concert for a Toronto hospital last week, the New York-based mum enjoyed a relaxing Sunday with her British-born beau as they happily walked side-by-side with their infants in matching strollers.
Motherhood is clearly agreeing with Diana, who has gradually been getting back to work after giving birth on December 6 - just after releasing her album From This Moment On.
"I toured right up until my seventh month," she says. "I promoted an album until I was seven months pregnant…with twins. I kept very active and busy, more than, my doctor said, any other patient with twins that he's ever had."
Even though she slowed down for the last five months, the multi-platinum-selling artist is moving full speed ahead with her music career, gearing up for a 38-date US tour to kick-off in Oakland, California next month.
"I'm going to tour June through September and, once I start up in June again, I'm really busy," the 42-year-old says. "So I'm getting prepared. I'm doing smaller gigs between now and then, just to get (back in shape)."
