After her big brother Jaden's breakthrough role alongside their famous dad Will Smith in The Pursuit Of Happyness, six-year-old Willow Smith has decided to follow her sibling's lead. The little girl is making her acting debut in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery alongside a star-studded cast currently filming in Toronto.
Dressed in Thirties-inspired trousers, with her hair pulled back in braids, Willow got some on-set support from her dad on Sunday. The Independence Day actor spent Father's Day proudly watching his youngest child lens scenes for the new drama which is set during the Great Depression in Cincinnati. Mum Jada Pinkett Smith and older brother Jaden, eight, were also close by.
While she could be forgiven for feeling first-time nerves in her debut acting role, Willow should be able to pick up some industry tips from the movie's star - child sensation Abigail Breslin, 11, who earned an Oscar nomination for her role in Little Miss Sunshine.
The film, set to be released in summer 2008, also features Joan Cusack, Chris O'Donnell and Stanley Tucci. And it's executive produced by Julia Roberts, who just gave birth to her third child Henry on Monday.
