With less than five days to go before the start of the world's premiere grass tennis tournament, British-based celebrities and those on the UK social circuit rallied round on Wednesday night to attend a pre-Wimbledon party. And leading the snappily-dressed guests at the bash - thrown by the event's official outfitter, Ralph Lauren - was former tournament champion Boris Becker.
The German-born tennis ace, who retired in 1999, is the official brand ambassador for the American fashion label during the championship. And the partnership is clearly a good match, with the flame-haired sportsman looked the part in a smart white jacket and navy blue trousers as he hosted the Bond Street festivities.
Boris will wear the brand's designs throughout the Grand Slam event, for which he will act as a TV commentator.
Also among the guests at the sporting do was Prince William's 25-year-old cousin, Lady Gabriella Windsor. The daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent served up a smile as she was snapped with Moscow-born Evgeny Lebedev. Handsome 27-year-old Evgeny, whose dad is Russian billionaire Alexander Lebedev, is no doubt used to getting a warm reception from ladies as he's firm fixture on 'most eligible bachelor' lists.
Someone else who's enjoyed his fair share of female attention in the past is Tim Jefferies. The photography gallery director has dated some of the world's most stunning ladies - including Kylie Minogue, Elle Macpherson and Claudia Schiffer. On this occasion he was accompanied by a mystery redhead.
