Fresh-faced Elisha Cuthbert proved that even film stars can get overwhelmed last week as she had her handprints preserved for posterity in cement in Times Square. "It's kind of surreal," said the Canadian actress. "You see big celebrities doing these sorts of things, and I guess you never think about yourself doing it…what an honour."
After the ceremony at Planet Hollywood in New York, it was back to business for the former 24 star who jetted into Toronto to promote her new thriller Captivity on Friday.
Elisha has also revealed she was frightened while filming her new horror flick which hits cinemas on July 13."The scariest thing that happened to me was getting buried alive in the sand," she admitted while co-hosting teen music show MuchOnDemand. "It was actually me in a glass compartment getting buried alive, and that really made me realise that I'm somewhat claustrophobic."
It's not hard to imagine the blonde beauty playing the part of a top cover girl in the scary movie, which is set to have viewers on the edge of their seats. But she's sure to keep romantic genre audiences captivated, too, when her comedy My Sassy Girl is released later this year.
