The stars go green in HELLO!

A-listers across the globe took to the stage on July 7 to call for action against global warming at one of the summer's hottest events, Live Earth. This week's special issue of HELLO! magazine takes readers inside the biggest environmental benefit in history with full coverage of the concert series and looks at celebrities' efforts to go green.

Leonardo DiCaprio reveals his commitment to the environment as he prepares to make his directorial debut with a documentary inspired by Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. "Global warming is not only the number one environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity," he says in the one-on-one interview. "We all have to do our part."

Meanwhile, 'green' guru David Suzuki speaks out on the climate crisis in the comment section. "There are going to be hundreds of millions of environmental refugees," says the expert. "Food and water are going to be two huge issues that come out of the problems with global warming."

Environmental pioneers Bill and Paula Lishman, who give an exclusive tour of their unique underground eco-home, reveal what readers can do to make a difference. While the beauty section features the coolest environmentally friendly beauty products on the market.
