As her on-screen Scrubs persona Dr Elliot Reid, Ottawa-born beauty Sarah Chalke is rarely seen out of her blue medic's uniform. But the blonde actress traded in her hospital attire this week as she put in a glamorous appearance at the Hollywood premiere of comedy Hot Rod.
She no doubt had male heads turning when she showed up solo on the red carpet looking svelte in a black satin gown. But the 30-year-old's heart has already been committed; she became engaged to long-time love Jamie Afifi in Hawaii last December during a break in filming. The 33-year-old Canadian-born entertainment lawyer got down on one knee while they were holidaying at the romantic isle's luxurious Grand Wailea Resort.
Considering Sarah's busy schedule of late the couple - who've been together for four years - are unlikely to have had much time to make plans for the big day. The actress has been hard at work shooting the sixth season of the medical comedy whilst also lensing big screen production Mama's Boy. The flick, in which she stars alongside Diane Keaton, Jon Heder and Jeff Daniels, is set to hit US screens in November.
