Rock stars' muse Patti Boyd had some special support as she launched her autobiography this week in the form of best pal Cilla Black. And, in the words of the TV host's famous Blind Date catchphrase, the gal pals certainly had a "lorra lorra laughs" at the London do.

Whatever the pair were chatting about, it certainly had them tickled. Patti held onto her flame-haired pal as they shared a joke while Cilla - who earlier this week joined Ronnie Wood on the dancefloor at his gypsy-themed 60th birthday party - could hardly contain her merriment.

Patti was clearly riding high on the excitement of unveiling her book Wonderful Tonight: George Harrison, Eric Clapton, And Me. The work - which includes photographs from her own collection – sheds light on her colourful life, including her marriages to the two rock icons. Both George and Eric penned several love songs for her, including Something and Layla.

Patti met the youngest Beatle on the set of their 1964 film Hard Day's Night, where the first words he spoke to her, she says, were "Will you marry me?" After their divorce in 1977 she went on to marry George's close friend Eric two years later.
