Europe-based former tennis ace Boris Becker has been making the most of the last few days of 2007 to catch up with his two growing sons.
The sportsman-turned-TV presenter jetted into the sun-drenched Florida city - where his former wife Barbara Feltus has a home - in the run-up to the New Year to spend some quality time with "chip off the old block" Noah, 13, and Noah's eight-year-old brother Elias. Boris has often spoken of his elder child as a source of immense pride, saying earlier this year: "He knows a bit too much. He's 14 in January and yet I feel like I'm talking to an 18-year-old. He's mature beyond his years." The pair enjoyed some father-son time together during a stroll along South Beach before joining Barbara - to whom the star was married for seven years - and Elias for a laid-back chat on the beach.
Also seeing in the New Year in the Florida sunshine were Zodiac star Robert Downey Jr and his pretty film producer wife Susan Levin. The pair, who met on the set of Gothika in 2003, were in the company of another equally glamorous couple at the weekend - as they stepped out to dine with Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso at an Italian restaurant in the city. Another celeb soaking up a little Miami sunshine was Rod Stewart's son Sean, star of US show Sons Of Hollywood, which featured a trio of famous offspring attempting to step out from the shadows of their parents and forge their own identities.
