With a new romance blooming and a svelte new silhouette, Lily Allen's 2009 is already shaping up to be a great year. Clad in golden spangly hotpants and a low cut blue shirt for an outing in London, the petite singer was showing off her new slim figure - she has apparently dropped two dress sizes after several sessions of hypnotherapy.
The £300-a-go therapy, which claims to remove the desire for fattening foods and is favoured by celebrities including model Sophie Dahl and former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, is understood to have also helped Lily cut out alcohol.
And of course giving her that extra glow is the new man in her life - 45-year-old art mogul Jay Jopling. The silver-haired art dealer - who spilt with his artist wife Sam Taylor Wood last September - and Lily's romance was revealed this week when the pair were spotted smooching aboard a yacht during a sunshine break in Caribbean hot spot St Barts.
It's not the first time Lily has fallen for a more mature man. Her DJ boyfriend Ed Simons, whom she dated last year, was 38. "I think I like much older men," says the singer, whose new album comes out on February 8. "I hang out with much older people, I go for dinners at posh places and talk about art. I'm meeting more interesting people who tax my brain."
