Just days after Simon Cowell dropped Kelly Brook as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, he's revealed he has created a new role especially for her.

Speaking as he prepared to attend auditions for the programme the music supremo announced Kelly has been offered a role on ITV2 spin-off Britain's Got More Talent – a behind the scenes look at the main show.

"She is a warm person who looks great and is very enthusiastic, and that’s why I spoke to her about the ITV2 show," the 49-year-old said. "I hope she'll accept."

Simon, who has reiterated it was the show's format rather than Kelly's performance which led to her being dropped as the fourth judge, also revealed he'd called the curvy brunette to apologise.

"She was very pragmatic and very professional about it, although obviously a bit sad about no longer being a judge," he said. "I am sure she had shed a couple of tears, but she's a tough little cookie."

Perhaps it was Simon's offer that brought such a big smile to Kelly's face on Wednesday. Obviously in high spirits the star spent the day with a group of girlfriends, her eyecatching red dress sending out a clear 'life goes on' message.
