Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, 35, has welcomed her first child with property developer partner Thomas Starr. The couple's daughter, Scarlet, made her appearance on Sunday.
An announcement on the singer's website confirms: "Melanie C gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 4.10pm on Sunday, February 22. The baby weighed 8lb 3oz. Both mum and baby, named Scarlet Starr, are doing well."
Melanie, who chose not to be told the sex of her baby beforehand, is the final Spice Girl to become a mummy. Victoria Beckham has three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, Emma Bunton is mum to son Beau, Melanie Brown has two girls, Phoenix and Angel, and Geri Halliwell has a daughter, Bluebell.
