Jade Goody's husband Jack Tweed, 21, will be freed from his curfew in order to be there for the stricken reality star in her last moments it has been revealed.

At the moment Jack, who is on parole, must be back at his mother's home - a 20-minute drive away from Jade's converted barn in Essex - between the hours of 7pm to 7am. This means the couple, who wed in a poignant ceremony last weekend, are unable to spend their nights together.

Justice Ministry officials had relaxed the curfew so the pair could share their wedding night. But the Sun newspaper reports Jack's petition for the tag, which ensures he abides by the curfew, to be removed, had been turned down.

Rather than remove the tag completely officials have decided to allow the 21-year-old to break curfew to be with his terminally ill bride at the end, the paper says. "When we have medical evidence this is imminent the tag will be removed," it quotes a senior source as saying.

Jack proposed to 27-year-old Jade shortly after being released from prison, where he was detained for assault, and her revelation that her cancer was terminal. "You're a special woman, I love you and I would be honoured to call you my wife," he told her.
