One of the advantages of being out of Dancing On Ice means Todd Carty now has more time to spend on fun family activities. And that's just what he was doing this week. The dad of two took his younger son Thomas to a children's musical in London.
Being free of rehearsals and training sessions means the former EastEnders actor can see more of the eight-year-old youngster and his brother James, 12. The Ireland-born actor isn't hanging up his skates altogether, though. He's signed up for the Dancing On Ice tour, which begins later this year, and is hotly tipped to make a return to the ice for the show's final later this month.
Todd wasn't the only TV star taking in the musical which is based on kids cartoon favourite SpongeBob SquarePants. Fellow former EastEnder Charlie Brooks was also there with her four-year-old, and it was a girls night out for Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden and her three-year-old daughter Lexi.
