Life-long Michael Jackson fan Jade Goody received a very surprising phone call this weekend – from the king of pop himself.
The mum-of-two was said to be "blown away" after speaking to the Thriller star from her hospital bed when the singer phoned with a message of support.
"When she was told Michael was on the phone her eyes lit up and she mustered all the strength she could to have a chat," a pal has reported. "He was wishing them both the best and asked if there was anything he could do for them or their family. Jade and Jack were touched".
Michael's call came over the same weekend that the terminally ill Big Brother star was christened with her two sons, five-year-old Bobby and Freddie, four.
The emotional ceremony, which took place at the Royal Marsden Hospital, was attended by the boys' dad Jeff Brazier, Jade's mum Jackiey and her husband Jack Tweed, 21, who the reality star has requested will continue to play a role in her sons' lives.
"We have all agreed it's best for the boys," the 27-year-old explained. "I'm sure Jeff will be a great full-time dad, and my mum, Jack's mum and Jack will all be doing everything to make the boys' lives as happy as possible."
