In the run-up to the broadcast on Thursday evening of a two-hour special featuring her February nuptials, clips of the ceremony in which Jade Goody tied the knot with partner Jack Tweed have been released.

The emotion-filled footage includes a beaming Jade, resplendent in the white Manuel Mota gown gifted her by Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed, coming down the aisle on the arm of her grandfather. At the altar, his eyes fixed on his bride, awaits 21-year-old Jack with the reality star's two sons at his side.

There is also footage of the touching sentiments Jack shared with his laughing bride at the February 22 ceremony, when he told her: "No-one has touched my life like you… has made my heart leap, and my soul dance".

An especially poignant moment is captured at the wedding breakfast, when the cancer-stricken reality TV star asks guests to keep their fingers crossed in the hope of a miracle which will allow them to come together in a couple of years to celebrate a blessing of their union.

Jade's Wedding airs on March 12 at 8pm on Living TV.
