As Jade Goody's family make the final plans for the reality TV star's April 4 memorial service, they are drawing strength from the huge number of floral tributes and cards from fans mounting up outside the reality TV star's Essex home.

"Jade would be the same as me - she would be overwhelmed by all this. It just shows how many people really loved her," said Jade's mum Jackiey Budden "I want to thank everyone who has bought flowers for the trouble they have taken, and I shall try to reply to all of them."

Added to the hundreds of notes and bunches of flowers left by members of the public, are the tributes which have flooded in from famous faces who knew Jade throughout her life.

"She was funny, smart and seized every opportunity with energy and optimism. I will miss her," said her TV presenter pal Jonathan Ross. Meanwhile Big Brother host Davina McCall was thinking of Jade's mum. "You can never prepare yourself to lose your baby before you, so I feel very sorry for Jackiey," she said.

Simon Cowell said: "I'm really saddened by this news. My heart goes out to the family," adding, in reference to Jade's husband Jack Tweed, "Jack's coped incredibly well these past weeks."

The 21-year-old is due in court this Thursday to be sentenced after being found guilty of assault. His lawyers are trying to postpone the hearing, however, until after the funeral. If magistrates decide to incarcerate him he would miss the service.

"Jack is holding on tight, bless him," said Jackiey. "He's honestly the best husband she could have ever had."

Another big issue Jade's loved ones have been grappling with in the wake of their loss is the continued care of her sons, Bobby, five, and four-year-old Freddie. It's been decided the boys will stay with their dad Jeff Brazier, with Jeff's mum Jeanette Price pitching in to look after them when their TV presenter dad is away working.
