They rule on the tennis court, and there's no doubt Venus and Serena Williams know a thing or two about serving up an ace when it comes to their style choices, too. The tennis sisters were both on perfect form - sartorially speaking - as they attended a party to celebrate the start of the Miami Open hard court championship.
The elder of the American siblings, 28-year-old Venus, showed off her toned legs in a thigh-skimming, long-sleeved dress. She faced stiff competition in the fashion stakes from younger sister. Twenty-seven-year-old Serena – currently ranked World Number One in women's tennis - was on bombshell form in a slinky leopard-skin print strapless number.
Venus and Serena, who are expected to meet in the semi-finals of this year's tournament, weren't the only tennis beauties turning heads at the VIP bash. On elegant form in a white trousers and sleeveless top combo, Russian player Maria Sharapova showed off the model good looks and figure which have helped her become the world's highest paid female athlete.
