While some thought the romance wouldn't last, Ronnie Wood and his Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova are still going strong. The couple's continued affection was clear as they attended a private preview of an exhibition of some of the Rolling Stone guitarist's artwork in LA.
Ronnie and his 20-year-old girlfriend, who were spotted at the end of last month enjoying a romantic break in Hawaii, were the picture of happiness, canoodling and laughing at the inauguration of a display of the musician's paintings.
The 60-year-old rocker, who before he began his musical career attended art college in London, has continued to paint and sketch over the years. His subjects are often band mates and musicians he admired, knew and sometimes played with.
Katia seemed impressed with the works, snapping some of her favourites with her camera. The former waitress, who shares a rented house in London with Ronnie, has been a presence in his life since last July when they spent a week together at his home in County Kildare, in Ireland.
After their relationship came to light Ronnie's 23-year marriage to Jo Wood collapsed. Both he and Jo have consulted divorce lawyers.
