Jade Goody's mum Jackiey Budden has teamed up with some of her confidants to bring the Big Brother star's life story to the West End stage.
Danny Hayward, a trustee for Jade's estate, said a TV talent show to find an "ordinary girl" to play the former dental nurse was being mooted. "We've got a musical coming out in about four months' time," confirmed Danny, who was one of Jade's 'best men' at her wedding to Jack Tweed.
The hope is "to repeat history" and turn an unknown into a famous name as happened with his friend. "Her dream as a little girl was to be in a musical, so obviously when she passed away it felt fitting to do something like this," he said adding that dates for auditions will be announced in three weeks.
Jade's publicist Max Clifford has said he would consider being a judge "if (the project) comes to fruition".
