Two years after Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead fell in love during the TV talent show Any Dream Will Do the couple have secretly exchanged vows in a island ceremony.
The setting in a secluded Seychelles resort could hardly have been more magical and the ocean-side nuptials, conducted before a handful of their closest friends and family, were as intimate as they could have hoped for.
There was a public start to their relationship following 35-year-old Denise's stint as a judge on the BBC1 show, which Lee won to bag the lead in musical Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
So when they eventually tied the knot the pair kept the celebrations at the Labriz Silhouette luxury resort to themselves. "Denise went away last weekend telling people she was simply going on holiday," said a friend. "It was literally just her parents, his parents and a couple of her best pals."
Joy was written all over her face as Denise pledged herself to her 27-year-old groom, wearing a simple strapless ivory chiffon gown, featuring a blush pink and silver knot detail at the bodice. Her blonde locks were swept back from her face by a Seventies-style diadem.
Lee, meanwhile, was handsome in a pale grey suit and pink shirt, with a flower garland around his neck.
Afterwards the newlyweds were seen sipping bubbly and smooching aboard a small vessel before repairing to a £12,000-a-night suite, complete with its own pool.
