Having greeted the Jonas Brothers with scenes of near hysteria at the London premiere of their film eight days ago, British fans of the American trio had an extra treat in store. Waxwork figures of the lads have gone on display at the capital's Madame Tussauds.

Figures of siblings Kevin, 21, 19-year-old Joe and Nick, 16 – who have captured the hearts of girls across the globe – are on loan from their home in New York until the end of May.

The figures join those of fellow heart-throb Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus in a special 'Teen Idol' section created to coincide with half term. It opens May 23 and runs until the end of the month .

The waxworks offer a photo opportunity with the clean-cut trio for those who missed them during their recent promotional trip.
