Simon Cowell's 50th birthday party was exactly the lavish kind of affair you might expect from a man whose business dealings have earned him a fortune and a contacts book full of of famous names.
Attended by stars including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Topshop owner Philip Green and Cheryl Cole – absentees Oprah and the Beckhams sent video messages that ran on a continuous loop in the toilets – the bash was certainly an event worthy of the birthday boy.
And joining all the celebrities was one very special guest, HELLO! can report. Fourteen-year-old Sian Tolfree – the girl Simon calls "Trouble" – was among those arriving at Wrotham Park on Saturday with a sought-after invitation.
Her invite came about because of the special relationship she enjoys with TV's Mr Nasty. The pair were introduced by publicist Max Clifford when Sian - who suffers from a serious heart condition and has had several operations - was seven.
"As soon as Simon walked through the door they had this natural, jokey relationship," Sian's mum Tina reveals in this week's issue of HELLO!, number 1093.
"And he's never let her down," she adds. "If she has phoned or texted him and he's on a plane, he'll text back and say 'I'm landing soon Trouble – I'll phone you then.'" Tina says of the X Factor judge's kindness: "Simon has made us feel like millionaires."
Also in this week's copy of the mag - on sale now – Strictly Come Dancing's Jo Wood invites us into the family home she used to share with her ex-husband Rolling Stone musician Ronnie and talks of how she hopes to reconnect with him.
"I would love for Ronnie to be back in our family's life," says Jo. "I hope he'll be able to come over for Sunday dinner and that we'll all be able to sit down together and talk and laugh and be great friends. I'll cook him dinner – he needs a good organic meal inside him."
There is also an exclusive extract from Leona Lewis's new autobiography and she opens up on the number one man in her life – her boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
