Good things come to those who wait. That was the case for Formula One world champion Jenson Button this week when he was finally reunited with his girlfriend Jessica Michibata.
The driving ace and the Japanese lingerie model – who have been kept apart for the past few weeks by Jessica's work commitments - were clearly delighted to be back in each other's company. The smiles never left their faces for a moment as they kissed and cuddled on a yacht in Dubai.
Their romantic sunshine tryst was the first chance for the lovers to celebrate Jenson's title win. Jessica was unable to be there when the 29-year-old driver crossed the line in Brazil, finishing in fifth place to clinch the top spot on points. But she wasn't far from his mind, as he dedicated his victory to his 25-year-old love, who he met in a bar in Toyko last year. He said after the race: "I want to thank my family and my girlfriend Jessica. I love you so much, this is for you."
Celeb watchers are waiting to see if Jessica's predictions ring true that the couple would mark his win by getting down on one knee. For now, there was no sign of a diamond sparkler on her engagement finger.
