Flanked by his Take That bandmates, Mark Owen beamed with happiness as he arrived at Cawdor Church on Sunday to marry his beautiful bride Emma Ferguson. The dad-of-two and his long-term love tied the knot in an intimate candlelit ceremony at the weekend followed by a reception for 50 family members and friends at the historic nearby Cawdor Castle.

In keeping with tradition, Emma, who wore a romantic white V-neck wedding gown and lace veil for the big day, kept her groom waiting for 25 minutes before heading into the small venue to exchange vows. Carrying a bouquet of white flowers, she was cheered by the crowd of people who had gathered outside the church to congratulate the couple. Mark, supported by Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange all clad in black tuxedos, wore a purple velvet morning suit and a traditional top hat.

It is not yet clear whether Robbie Williams, who recently reunited with the band, was able to attend the happy event.

Following the ceremony, guests were transported to the 14th-century castle for further celebrations, which culminated in an impressive fireworks display. The newlyweds were then whisked to their honeymoon suite in the castle in a vintage Volkswagen camper van decked out with rose petals adorning the floor and a love heart shaped out of twigs. Mark, 37, and 33-year-old Emma have been engaged since 2006 and are parents to two children – Elwood Jack, who is three, and one-year-old Willow Rose.
