Disappointment for 'X Factor' fave Olly Murs as he wins only £10 on 'Deal or No Deal'

As far as his X Factor fans are concerned, Olly Murs has "winner" stamped all over him. But that certainly wasn't the case during an earlier TV appearance, when the Essex lad tried his luck on Deal Or No Deal

Poor Olly came away with only £10 during his December 2007 appearance on the popular Channel 4 show. He faced a dilemma when at one point he was offered a 'deal or no deal' of £22,000. But he turned it down - a decision he came to regret. The X Factor favourite was finally down to two boxes of £10 and £1,000, saying no to a last offer of £750 before being told he had only won a tenner.

He might have lost out on the big prizes, but Olly certainly won over TV host Noel Edmonds. The presenter told him: "Every now and again we meet a special person on the show and you do not have failure written over you. "It's been a real pleasure to meet you and I'm going to miss you, Olly." Earlier in the show Olly showed off his famous dance moves as he wiggled to the front of the stage when called to the chair by Noel. During his appearance on the program, Olly also flashed his patterned boxers and flirted with fellow contestants.
