After tying the knot in a small private ceremony in a Las Vegas hotel last month, Katie Price and Alex Reid will be saying 'I do' again in front of friends and family with a blessing held in England this summer. And the mum-of-three shared some of the couple's plans for the big day when she appeared on This Morning this week.
In contrast to her first wedding with ex-husband Peter Andre in 2005, which was broadcast on their reality show, Katie said her second marriage would be a much more private affair, and that the ceremony itself would be a "family thing".
"We are doing a blessing in the summer because we want all our family there," the 31-year-old told hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby."
And obviously (Alex's) mum would like to see her son get married, and my mum would like to see it again so yeah…can't wait."
Speaking about arrangements for the blessing, Katie – who is launching a children's make-up range – revealed: "We are both going to do it together and get our families involved, his mum, my mum. "We're all going to do it as a family thing, how really it should be done, not how other people tell you to do it. We're not going to have a wedding planner, we're literally going to do it ourselves."
The Brighton-born brunette went on to reveal that she and the cage fighter – winner of Celebrity Big Brother – are already trying for a baby and are house-hunting for a new marital home.
She also explained that she and Alex, 34, decided to marry in Las Vegas because it was the only place they could wed so soon after her divorce.
During her appearance, Katie inadvertently referred to Alex as Pete, who has reportedly begun laser treatment to remove her name from his wedding finger.
