It was the perfect end to a memorable Dancing with the Stars performance. Pamela Anderson impressed both the audience and the judges with her rumba on the show this week, not least because she ended the routine by flawlessly performing the splits.Having attempted to win over the panel with the cha-cha-cha, the foxtrot and the Paso Doble in previous episodes, the mum-of-two secured her place in the competition with the Cuban ballroom dance, having earned high praise for her efforts.
Judge Len Goodman told the blonde bombshell and partner Damian Whitewood that they had produced a "understated and sophisticated" performance, while Bruno Tonioli said Pamela had shown she could do "refinement and sophistication" while still being "drop dead sexy. "He also added that it was the 42-year-old's best dance in the competition so far.
But it's not just Pamela's impressive flexibility that has been causing a stir on the show - her relationship with Damian is making headlines too.
Her host quickly addressed the steamy tension between the couple, saying: "You guys seem to be very affectionate towards each other – am I reading too much into this?" Currently single Pamela quickly replied: "No!" before Jimmy went on to ask whether Damian could become her lover.
Having given a performance that sizzled with chemistry, Pamela – wearing a slinky white number – further fuelled reports of a romance with her dance partner when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's chat show.
"I kind of like the tension. There's a lot of tension, which is really good. I like that," she replied. "I'm sure he likes the tension…I'm not with anybody right now, its nice to have that romance.""It’s a real lesson in a healthy relationship, dancing with somebody, then…you go home. "Meanwhile, as her appearance on Dancing with the Stars goes from strength to strength, Pamela might have trouble on another front. This week it was revealed that the former Baywatch star owes $493,000 - £320,000 – in income tax, according to a list released by Californian officials.A lawyer acting for the star - who appeared in pantomime in Wimbledon over Christmas, and is now said to be house hunting in London – said he didn't wish to comment.
