Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Fever, Footloose - and now, StreetDance. On Monday night, the coolest British acts stepped out in London to celebrate the launch of a new film all about the world of dance.

And joining them on the red carpet was none other than Heather Mills, who was keen to show her support for the industry.

A passionate dancer who has appeared in both Dancing with the Stars and, more recently, Dancing on Ice, Heather embraced her edgy side in a youthful playsuit teamed with thigh-high boots for the Leicester Square event.

Her eye-catching ensemble meant she more than held her own against the many stars attending the premiere.

Britain's Got Talent winner's Diversity and rival troupe Flawless were both at the StreetDance screening, as was George Sampson – all of whom appear in the film.

The first British movie to be shot in 3D, it tells the story of a street dance crew training for the UK Championships who are forced to work with ballet dancers in return for free rehearsal space.

With no common ground and with passions running high, the two groups of dancers realise they need to find a way of working together to compete in the competition.

And, as Diversity's Ashley Banjo revealed, the film's extra dimension brought with it a new challenge for the dancers. "It's hard to choreograph specially for 3D as you don’t just want to dance how you would for the normal camera, you want to try to get people involved in the experience," the talented 21-year-old explained.
