Over 15 years have gone by since they last recorded together. But Take That's Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams were reunited this week to film the music video for their brand new duet, Shame. The musicians were on location in Los Angeles, where they were shooting in a country western bar. And joining them was Robbie's fiancée Ayda Field.
The Let Me Entertain You singer and Gary fell out after Robbie quit Take That in 1995 after disagreements with management and other members of the group. Take That disbanded the following year but Gary and the other members – Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange reformed the group in 2006 and went on to enjoy great success. With a successful solo career on his CV, Robbie has never formed part of the reunited band. However on June 7 it was announced he and Gary had written a new track which they would sing on together.
Details of the new song are limited, but it will be featuring on Robbie's greatest hits album, which will be out on October 11. Robbie has said of the new record: "It's not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me."
