After months of secrecy, Amanda Holden shared her happy pregnancy news with the world this week. But she still kept her burgeoning baby bump under wraps when she made her first post-announcement appearance at the Britain's Got Talent series five auditions. The radiant 39-year-old, who has revealed she is expecting a son in March, chose to cover up in a fuchsia coat as she arrived for the Hammersmith Apollo.
And despite being six-months pregnant, Amanda's little bump was barely visible as she greeted crowds ahead of filming.Clearly, expecting has done nothing to curb her love of fashion – the English actress teamed her vibrant coat with a towering pair of black Mary Jane shoes and a pink quilted Chanel handbag for day one of the auditions. Not all eyes were on Amanda's midriff though. Wednesday's event also marked the debut of new BGT judge, comedian Michael McIntyre, who received an incredible welcome from the auditionees chanting his name as he arrived.
The other new member of the panel, David Hasselhoff, was unable to attend due to work commitments – but judging pro Louis Walsh was on hand to help out.And presenting duo Ant and Dec were also there to resume their hosting duties.Despite preparing for the birth of her second child, Amanda has insisted she will continue working on Britain's Got Talent and also the West End production of Shrek: The Musical – she will play Princess Fiona when the show opens in May.
