In a floor-length, plunging V-neck ivory gown, Cheryl Cole was a vision in white as she glided up the red carpet in Cannes. Attending the Habernus Papam premiere - by Italian film-maker Nanni Moretti - the newly appointed US X Factor judge turned heads with her daring yet elegant number.
Accessorising with a belt made of hand-blown glass in the shape of two pears filled with liquid gold, the singer added a dose of 'wow' factor to the glittering event on the French Riviera. Her plum lipstick contrasted perfectly with the white Stephane Rolland gown, whilst her sleek ponytail – miles away from the voluminous 'do she sported at the X Factor auditions - enhanced her sophisticated style. Later on, the 27-year-old opted for a more demure outfit as she attended the after-party of L'Oreal – the cosmetics company for which she acts as spokesmodel. She shimmered in a high-necked, champagne-hued Robert Cavalli gown, complete with a tiered mermaid-inspired hemline for the event held at the Palais de Festivals.
Her sparkling, luxe creation was complemented by slicked-back hair and a bold red box clutch. Cheryl then jetted back to the US to continue with her X Factor auditions. And true to the rumours that the fashion icon is keen to make her fashion mark in the US with bold, bright colours, she left Cannes wearing cobalt blue Capri trousers with an electric pink vest-top.
