Doting new dad Orlando Bloom wins your vote in our special celebrity Father's Day poll

Competition was tight but with 26 per cent of your votes Pirates of the Caribbean star and new dad Orlando Bloom emerged the clear winner of our celebrity father poll.The dad of six-month-old Flynn says, "Having a child has really centered me. I feel more focused and it has helped me to value what's important and what's not." A new sense of perspective isn't the only reward of fatherhood for this A-lister. After Flynn's birth he revealed, "I think being a father makes me more sexy" - a point few would dispute.

Following close behind Orlando was Wolverine star and father-of-two Hugh Jackman.After he and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness struggled to have children of  their own, they adopted Oscar in 2000 and Ava in 2005. Hugh has since said, "It's frightening how in love you are with them. "Everything is exposed with kids. There's no artifice, because they see you exactly for what you are." 

Unsurprisingly, Brad Pitt scored high too, coming in at number three. The patriarch of the Pitt-Jolie clan, who is a father of six, says, "This family is full of life. There are laughs, aggravations, irritations, but at the end of the day, its fun." Number four went to celeb chef Jamie Oliver. Although his busy schedule as head of a business-empire makes him a self-proclaimed 'weekend dad', he does not hesitate to claim his children and 'good marriage' as his greatest achievements.With three boys and a baby girl on the way, David Beckham's unwavering commitment to his kids earned him the number five spot.The footballer describes himself as a 'hands-on' parent. His parenting skills have also earned him compliments from supermodel Heidi Klum: "[They are] the best behaved kids in the world. Parents stand in awe listening to them speak so politely and correctly." Rounding out the vote was Johnny Depp, David Cameron, Elton John, Ricky Martin, Tom Cruise, Rod Stewart and Richard Branson.
