The teen idol wrapped a protective arm around his girlfriend, 18, as she hosted the Much Music Video Awards on Sunday, her first public appearance since falling ill.
Justin was on stage to accept the best international Canadian video award, and he later picked up the 'favourite artist by ordinary Canadians award'. Selena looked back to health as she entertained the audience, slipping into an array of sparkly outfits during the course of the evening. Selena later took to the stage again to perform her hit song, Who Says. International heart-throb Justin took to Twitter after the show to thank his fans for the additions to his glowing trophy cabinet, and sent a cheeky message to his girlfriend. “@selenagomez you did a great job and were lookin good. nice meeting you. lol. ;),” he tweeted.
