Cheryl Cole's ex-husband Ashley apparently has his heart set on winning her back. The footballer is said to be making plans for Cheryl's June 30 birthday after she recently spent the night at their former marital home in Godalming, Surrey.
A friend said: "Who knows what is going to happen in the future with them? "Cheryl is so tired and emotional that she may just give in."
"He is the only man she has ever truly loved and that's a powerful thing." The pop star's friend told the Daily Mail that her nearest and dearest are unhappy at the thought of Cheryl getting back with Ashley. During their marriage, the sportsman was linked to other women. Both her mum Joan and her manager Will.i.am have warned her it wouldn't be good for her career or her emotional wellbeing.
But the Geordie beauty will apparently not rule out a reconciliation. She is said to be lonely after splitting with dancer Derek Hough last month. Ashley is currently on holiday in Los Angeles with friends but is considering cutting his break short to concentrate on winning back his ex-wife.
He has apparently been bombarding her with texts and was spotted out earlier this month wearing his wedding ring while clubbing. Cheryl admitted during a recent interview with Piers Morgan that she would always have feelings for her former husband. "We had a great relationship. There's part of us [sic] that will always love him," she told the interviewer.
